#238. Going Strong After 25 Years – The Center for Innovation at the University of North Dakota
Posted on | The AgurbanGoing Strong After 25 Years – The Center for Innovation at the University of North Dakota Everyone who knows me, either through Agracel, Boomtown Institute, my blogs, twitters or personal visits, knows that one of my biggest passions is entrepreneurism. I believe that giving people, especially young people, the tools they need to be entrepreneurs is critical to the success and the future of our country. They are doing this in North Dakota. The Center for Innovation at the University of North Dakota (UND) was among the first entrepreneur outreach centers in the nation when formed in 1984. The Center provides assistance to innovators, entrepreneurs, and researchers to launch new ventures, commercialize new technologies, and secure access to capital from private and public sources. The Center for Innovation’s vision and mission is to maintain national leadership in entrepreneur outreach and education, and become the leader in tech entrepreneurship in rural America. The Center has received numerous awards and rankings for its endless efforts to promote entrepreneurism. In my many travels throughout North Dakota I’ve always been very impressed with the entrepreneurial spirit in the state.Ā The Center for Innovation has helped in nurturing and developing that spirit. Congratulations to everyone at the Center for Innovation at UND, and Thank You for all you do! |
